I need my fingerprints taken for an application, can I have this done at the Sheriff's Office?

The Sheriff's Office no longer takes any civil (non-criminal) fingerprints

As of January 1, 2010 the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) only accepts electronic fingerprint submissions. DCJS has contracted with IdentoGO to provide electronic fingerprinting services at various locations throughout New York State. For further information or to schedule an appointment, access IdentoGO's website at https://www.identogo.com/ or call their toll free number (877) 472-6915, or via TTY/TTD at 1-(800) 662-1220.
