The harvester worked three days last week (7/7-7/9) on both sides of the lake, north and south. Aquatic vegetation was confirmed to be lighter than usual. This week the harvester was moved to the California Ranch but did not harvest. Instead, operators worked to remove overgrown vegetation behind the weir in the lagoon at the north end. This is handwork, slow and difficult, but appears to be facilitating the flow of water. This project will continue in coordation with the Town of Richmond.
If you experience dense plant growth in your area, please contact us at (585) 396-4458. We will resume harvesting with additional plant growth.
