Ontario County Office for the Aging (OFA) provides seniors and their caregivers with a vast amount of information and a variety of services.

The Office for the Aging serves people 60 years of age and older and their caregivers. Their mission is to provide advocacy, information, assistance, assessment, and referral. OFA can help you address many issues specific to older adults; meals and nutrition, long-term care, health insurance, transportation, and many more.

Education for Seniors: Ontario County Public Health

Ontario County Public Health has an active community education program. Public health nurses and educators are available to visit groups of seniors to discuss a variety of health topics. Shingles Vaccine

Have you talked to your healthcare provider, yet? Shingles vaccination should be a routine part of preventative healthcare for people over the age of sixty. Many healthcare providers and pharmacies now offer this vaccine.
