VINE stands for VICTIM INFORMATION and NOTIFICATION EVERYDAY.
VINE is an automated victim notification service allowing victims to plan for their safety and providing peace of mind. VINE provides timely and reliable offender custody status, protective order status and court case information.
How Does VINE Work?
VINE operates direct interfaces with over 2,900 jails and Dept of Corrections facilities across 48 states.
It is completely confidential. Users can register to receive real-time alerts when there are changes in an offender's custody status such as booking into custody, release from custody or transfer to a different facility.
Notifications can be received via telephone, email, text message or in app.
Victims also have the ability to call toll-free at anytime to check an offender's status at: 1-866-277-7477.
